DENVER ZOO Field Trip:

Please join us this Friday, Sept 19th, for our school field trip at the Denver Zoo. This field trip is free of charge for our group. This will be an on-your-own event. We will be meeting at the Denver Zoo entrance at 10:15am for check-in. We have a timed group entry at 10:30 am. All families must be checked in with a Summit Academy South Staff Member prior to 10:30am. We must all enter together as a group at 10:30am in order to receive our free school pass. Please fill out the attached sign-up sheet.

Dear Summit Academy South Families,

Due to the tragic events at Evergreen High School, the district has canceled school tomorrow for all of the schools in the Evergreen and Conifer area, which includes Summit Academy South. We apologize for the late email. In incidents such as this, information is constantly evolving. This unfortunate tragedy has touched many in our tight-knit mountain community. Two-Hour Delay January 21, 2025

Summit Academy South will be on a 2 Hour Delay due to hazardous road conditions. Students may be dropped off starting at 10:15 and classes start at 10:30.

We hope you're enjoying your Thanksgiving break! While you’re checking off those Black Friday and Cyber Monday lists, please consider adding a gift or two from our Holiday Care Package needs list! With 40 families on our list, including 100 children and 79 adults, we ask for your support to help make this possible. A small contribution can go a long way toward brightening someone’s season. Feel free to share the list with others outside our organization, too. Together, our strong community can make a meaningful difference! Please drop off donations by Monday, December 9th, at one of our front offices (JAE, JAS, JACCC, SAW). If donation drop-off is a hardship, reach out to Tiffany to coordinate pickup. Family Gingerbread House Competition!! Bring your pre-decorated gingerbread house to school on December 17th &19th. Neutral judges will be judging and awarding family prizes. * Please only one entry per family.

Winter Celebration Party Littleton is December 17, 2024 Conifer is December 19, 2024 We will have a regular school schedule. We will serve pizza like always or you can bring your lunch. We will have FUN stations like crafts, a photo opportunity with a GIANT penguin, and fun winter activities. Bring some spending cash because you will also have a chance to shop at the Entrepreneurship Classes Holiday Market.

Concurrent Enrollment Informational Meeting Interested in learning more about your student taking college classes while in high school? Join us for an after-school meeting at 3:30 pm on Dec 10th in Littleton or Dec 12th in Conifer for an introduction to Concurrent Enrollment. Holiday Market Littleton is December 17, 2024 Conifer is December 19, 2024 11:30 am - 1:00 pm During the lunch period, the Entrepreneurship classes will be hosting a Holiday Market. This is where they will be selling their handcrafted goods and services. Bring some cash to spend because you will have a chance to shop. Families are welcome to come between 11:30 and 1:00 pm and support our student's businesses

SNOW DAY ALERT: Friday, November 8, 2024 will be a snow day for all JA and Summit Academy campuses. All childcare programs, after-school activities, and meetings scheduled will be canceled and all facilities will be closed. Please note: We follow Jeffco Public Schools for weather related closures.
