National Western Stock Show
Time & Location
About The Event
The National Western Stock Show, one of Colorado’s preeminent tourist destinations, is held every January for 16 days. A nationally recognized western heritage and entertainment event, the stock show hosts one of the world’s richest regular season professional rodeos, one of the country’s largest horse shows, and Colorado’s largest western trade show, attracting attendance numbers over 650,000 visitors each year.
Parking is free of charge for the general public in all National Western lots. ****This is very important, though: be sure to plan at least an extra half hour to park and get to the Stock Show since all the lots beside the building are for those with passes only. The lots farther away are free and they have a shuttle to the building, but it will take time.
There is event food available or you can bring a bagged lunch.
We will meet inside the building at the east end of the Events Center Arena. Once you get off the shuttle at the ticketing arena, go to the school group area. Caroline Fuerte will be by the school check in table. Her cell number is 720-413-8084. Once everyone has arrived, you will receive a map, we will enter as a group, and you are free to wander around by yourselves.
